What is my English level? English levels follow the CEFR scale from A1 beginner to C2 mastery. A short placement test can estimate your level.

What does CEFR B1 mean? B1 is intermediate. At B1 you can handle most everyday situations and give short reasons and explanations.

A1	Beginner	You’re building first words and phrases. Start with grammar basics and everyday vocabulary.
A2	Elementary	You handle routines and simple stories. Push into past tenses and connectors.
B1	Intermediate	You’re an independent user. Work on tenses in depth and natural collocations.
B2	Upper-Intermediate	You hold your own well. Refine nuance, conditionals, and the perfect aspects.
C1	Advanced	Fluent and flexible. Polish register, inversion, and idiom.
